Abstract

The study evaluated online recruitment and organisational effectiveness with reference tomodern competitive environment in Nigeria. The study was carried out in Access banks andGuarantee Trust Bank in Ado-Ekiti. A descriptive survey research design was embraced and thesample size was 80 using simple random sampling. Primary data used for the study weregathered through the administration of structured questionnaire. Data gathered were analyzedusing standardized linear regression analysis. The result showed that online recruitmentsignificantly affect organisational effectiveness (t= 3.376, p<0.05). Thus, in conclusion, it wasshown that online recruitment was significantly and positively related to organisationaleffectiveness in modern competitive environment in Ado-Ekiti.
